The Cathedral of Fate

This does not look like any "cathedral" you have ever seen. Though it is spacious and has impressive architecture, the pews do not face a grand podium. Rather, each seat faces a computer. Ethernet cables run between them and to one of the walls. Any oration would probably have to be done on the stage over to the right, the audience in the folding lawn chairs or on the floor. That area seems to be designed with good acoustics in mind; it might be a good place for a concert. One wing of the cathedral houses a gallery of paintings, sculpture, and holograms. A room off to the left contains a gift shop with an extensive collection of music CD's and games. Up near the front is an extensive library. In the back, exquisite smells waft out of the kitchen near a small dining area. The walls are decorated with sacred scrolls and strange icons. One niche contains a diorama depicting several people helping Jesus off of his cross, and binding his wounds. Another features a statue of Buddha happily helping himself to a bowl of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs. Yin and Yang hang from a mobile, swinging along independent paths. A shrine in one corner, labeled "Metaphasic Inverter," features an empty pedestal. A spiral staircase leads to a glass-domed observatory, from which one can see a brightly starlit night sky, though the constellations are unrecognizable.

This is, perhaps, too much to take in at once. Nearest you are two scrolls, one by Blimix labeled "Lifemate" and one by Andromeda called "In Defense of Ecstasy," and a white portal.
